01. Where can oxygen be delivered? In principle, we can deliver oxygen worldwide, but given the varying security norms we urge you to contact us before making your travel plans or booking your trip to ensure that oxygen can actually be delivered to your intended destination.
02. What does the oxygen cost? You are quoted a custom price depending on the destination, the type of oxygen and other services you may desire. If you fax or e-mail the requisite data to us, we will send you a price specification based on your specific needs. 03. What data do you need to be able to quote a price? Via this web site (see ‘Enquiries‘) you can request a price with no obligations. Simply fill in the few items of information initially required and we can quote you a price. If you then place an order for oxygen, we will contact you for additional information. 04. Can I take my own small oxygen cylinders with me on my trip and have CARE O2 refill them at my destination? In many cases, this is possible, but it is not always feasible and we cannot always guarantee this. In this case, it is important that you clearly specify this request in advance. 05. What happens if I decide to leave early or stay longer than originally planned? In such cases, we request that you contact us as soon as you know your new departure dates so that we inform your insurer and/or oxygen supplier. 06. I suffer from Horton’s neuralgia and need more oxygen than normal (7-15 ltr./min.) Can this be arranged? If you specify this on your request, this will not pose a problem. 07. How will I know who has the oxygen intended for me at the airport? You do not need to go searching for anyone at the airport; we will be waiting for you at the airplane door. 08. Is it true that a drum of liquid oxygen runs empty ‘by itself’ after some time and that this is not true of cylinders? Liquid oxygen drums are equipped with a pressure relief valve. Movement, changes in temperature and the like converts the liquid oxygen into a gas (O2) that can escape from the drum via the relief valve. 09. At home I use a so-called top-loader (top-fill, a tank with liquid oxygen from which the portable set can be filled). I want to travel to Spain by bus and take my own portable oxygen set with me. Can I fill this oxygen set in Spain before I return home? In principle, this is possible, but it depends on the supplier and the region to which you are travelling. 10. I have been told that there are frequent power failures in Spain. I use oxygen equipment equipped with a concentrator (an electrical device that extracts or concentrates oxygen from the air). What solution can you offer should the power fail? In addition to the concentrator, an emergency cylinder is provided, just as with liquid oxygen. 11. Is there a special telephone number where I can always reach CARE O2 during my stay abroad in case of emergency? Absolutely. We have an emergency number that we will give you before you leave for Spain. You can reach us at this number 24 hours a day.
